_uC, short for Unstable compound, is an artist from Bologna, who for over fifteen years worked in the music world.
He begins, as many, when he was a teenager, with a band in the basement of the house, holding electric bass and baritone guitar to create a sharp-experimental noise.
Years later, firmly ensconced in the Bologna background, he looking for new sounds, experimenting with synths and drum machines, following new nocturne and oniric atmospheres. He debuts with Peripheral Nervous System, a five-track EP produced by IDM netlabel Musicaoltranza. In the fertile and creative city of Bologna, he quickly creates a network of partnerships, first as a resident at Sesto Senso (aka Arci Bologna elected Best Dj's Bar) and participating in art and music programming. Other highlights include contacts with the netlabel, including Homework, a collective of artists that deals with the spreading of electronic music and digital arts.
A remix for this label shows a new inspiration, and reveals his darker and hypnotic side.
In his tracks he mixes low frequencies and irregular rhythms, melancholy musical textures and digital errors.
Constantly looking for new ideas, he begins to deal with visual designer and theatrical performer, contributing in sound environment.
Currently working on new productions and DJ sets, contaminating his style with garage and dubstep influences.
